The story begins in 2016 when Martin started to build a first wooden hollow board. Coming from the passion for windsurfing, the first board should have been for that kind of sport. However, even 10 years experience of product construction and 5 years experience in wood working was not enough to be successful. Since that time, we, Martin and Petra, have spent hundreds of hours by developing new shapes, techniques and prototypes. After gaining some know how, we not only switched from windsurf boards to paddleboards, but we also saw a potential to turn the hobby into a living and we decided to go for it.

The first functional Café board came 3 years later from the unsuccessful attempt, in 2019. It was an allround model Latté and it pumped us with optimism for another development. We moved to another model, Lungo. With this faster touring, we entered the season 2020 and tried to get more feedback from the paddleboard community so that every other boards is better than the previous. We entered some events and races and met a racer (and currently a friend) Štěpán. Hours of discussions, hours in our workshop and viola, Doppio was born. However, as everyone, we were hit by the covid pandemic and it was harder to present our new racing model. But as soon as it was possible, we showed Doppio to the world and since that, the interest in our boards is significantly increasing. We created a veneered version the same season and also, we have now a racers presenting our boards. Not only in Czechia, but also abroad. 

So far, we tried to gain as much experience as possible to be able to offer you almost unlimited customization of our boards. Our plan is to bring you enjoyment of a sustainable and local product that can be your own even before you bring it on the water.
